简介：
最终幻想（日语：ファイナルファンタジー，英语：FinalFantasy，简称FF，台湾/香港：太空战士，中国大陆：最终幻想），1987年由日本当时的游戏软件公司史克威尔（SQUARESOFT）（目前与ENIX艾尼克斯合并为：SQUARE-ENIX）开发的角色扮演游戏（RPG）游戏系列。
在那个时候，正是FC红极一时的年代。充斥市场的是以《勇者斗恶龙》为代表的所谓"勇者派"RPG。那时的史克威尔公司还不过是一个小小的开发游戏的厂商。在做了几个游戏都没有轰动后，制作人坂口博信决定做完最后一个游戏改行。而那个游戏就被命名为《最终幻想》（多少有点悲壮的意味）。不曾想，游戏一经推出就备受玩家的注目。由此开始，FF一代一代的伴着无数玩家走了过来……
